Do you know this feeling: you are so happy with the result of what you made, that you find it a little bit hard to give it away?
I have had it with this blanket! I’m so happy with it, but luckily the receiver also: my sister in law. She and my brother got their 4th son in November! And for that fourth man I hooked this blanket!
Exercise the pattern
The blog about that blanket you can read here And I am very motivated by the results of this blanket to make the other blanket continue finish!
The colors I have worked in straight lines so that it would keep a calm effect.
In consultation with my sister we opted for the slight gray tint to connect the triangles.
The pattern is from the book “Alles is haken’ from Saskia Laan. In the book there are only ‘triangles’.
Because I wanted the blanket as a square. I made matching pieces for the open areas on the sides, so know the blanket is a square!
And this is the result! I think it is verry nice!
