This is my last crochet creation. A jacket for my 3-year-old daughter.
Earlier I thought: ‘I would like to hook a jacket for my daughter’. And now that he is finished, I am so satisfied and happy! The pattern comes from the ‘Drops Design’ magazine, but can also be found on the site. You can read more of that in this article…!

Drops Design crochet pattern

I have had to adjust the pattern a bit. My daughter is 3.5 and is wearing size 98/104(dutch size).
I followed the pattern of size 56 (dutch size) and I used the wool from a store in the Netherlands ‘de Zeeman’, and crocheted with crochet hook 5. In the end the size is good, but that did take some effort..!

Finishing of the crocheted jacket

At first I fixed wooden buttons in two rows. However, I was not satisfied with this. They were also crooked, this annoyed me. I went for suitable buttons and finally I found these nice mint green buttons at ‘de Stoffenkraam’ in Sliedrecht, a place in the Netherland where I grew up.
In the end I am very satisfied with this end result!
